Who it is for

Adults 18 and older. You need no diagnosis or referral to start. Some people come for a few months about one problem; others stay longer. You and your clinician decide how often to meet and when to stop.
Dr. Lucia Tamsett, Gideon Ashcombe, Yesenia Ochoa and Noelle Okafor all see adults one on one.
What a session looks like

The first session is mostly listening: what brings you in, what you have tried, and what you want to change. After that, sessions are 50 minutes, usually weekly at first.
Approaches differ by clinician. Our team is trained in CBT, ACT and EMDR, and each profile says what that clinician uses.
Questions about individual therapy
Do I need a diagnosis to start therapy?
No. If you use insurance, your plan may require a diagnosis code on the claim, and your clinician talks that through with you in the first session. If you pay yourself, we send no claim and no diagnosis code to an insurance plan.
Can I switch clinicians?
Yes. Tell your clinician or call the intake coordinator. Switching inside the practice keeps your records in one place, so you do not start from zero.
