Adults after any loss, recent or years ago. Grief does not follow a schedule, and you do not need to feel a certain way to come. Gideon Ashcombe, LCSW, spent six years as a hospice social worker before he joined us.

Sessions and the group

Wooden chairs set apart in a loose ring in a calm room with two lit table lamps and tall windows.

Individual sessions are 50 minutes. The grief and loss group meets on Tuesdays from 6 to 7:30 pm for eight weeks, with six to eight members. Some people do both; some start in one and move to the other.

Questions about grief and loss

Is it too soon, or too late, to come?

Neither. Some people call in the first weeks after a loss, others years later. The intake coordinator can talk it through with you.
