Most people wait a long time before they call. I want that first call to be the easy part.

Lucia founded Bayreach Counseling Group in 2014 and leads the weekly case consultation. She sees adults about worry, grief and big life changes.

Meet every clinician

How the practice works

  • Matched by a person, not a form

Our intake coordinator talks with you for about 15 minutes and suggests a clinician. You can ask for anyone by name.

  • A team that consults

Our clinicians meet every Tuesday morning. With your permission, your clinician can ask a colleague with different training for a second view.

  • Evenings and Saturdays

Sessions until 8 pm Monday to Thursday and on Saturday mornings, in the office or by video from anywhere in Florida.

  • Therapy in Spanish

Yesenia Ochoa, LMHC, holds sessions in English and Spanish for adults, teens and families.

How do I know which clinician is right for me?

You do not need to know before you call. Tell the intake coordinator what is going on and when you can come, and she suggests someone whose training fits. If the fit is not right after a session or two, say so and we help you switch.

Is what I say kept private?

Yes, within limits that Florida law sets. We must act when someone is at serious and immediate risk of harm, when a client makes a specific threat against another person, or when we suspect abuse of a child or a vulnerable adult. Outside these limits, we share nothing without your written permission.

Can anyone else see my records?

A court order can require records, and parents can see a minor's records. Your clinician explains these limits in the first session. We share nothing with family, employers or schools without your written permission.

What if I need help right away?

We are not a crisis service. Call or text 988 to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at any hour, or chat at chat.988lifeline.org. If you are in danger, call 911.

When you are ready to start
